• Job Role Shall be responsible for overall day to day engineering department functioning, materials procurement, vendors follow ups, casual, contract works to be monitored. Ensure smooth operations of the engineering and maintenance department within stipulated budgets for power generators, LT Panel, STP, WTP, Public area, Room’s complaints, coordinates and performs routine, preventive and emergency interior / exterior maintenance and repairs to obtain optimum efficiency.

  2. Scope of work: Have in depth knowledge of safety regulation, electrical, plumbing, WTP, STP, Fire, HVAC systems & Solar panels, also should have problem solving attitude with organizational and leadership skills Supervise the maintenance team and lead them to develop technical multiskilled.

  1. Work Schedule: Timely prepare and complete the preventive maintenance & routine maintenance in guest rooms, lobbies and all facilities as per schedule.
  2. Prioritize, plan, schedule assign and supervise the engineering department staff.
  3. Oversee the maintenance tasks, work orders and special projects ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  4. Maintenance (PPM): Organize repair and maintenance in a manner that does not disturb guests and PPM schedule to be plan. Perform daily and weekly property document inspections. Coordinate with the equipment suppliers for AMC and any outstanding issues.
  5. Cost Control: Implement new ideas to reduce the operating costs and conserve energy in all means. Maintain budgets, expenses, department documents and activity logs.

  1. Communication: Manage good relationship with contractors and service providers.
  2. Plan & Action: Plan and oversee renovations and construction. Act fast to resolve emergency issues and safety concern.
  3. Training: Provide training to staff on supplies, inventory, maintenance and ordering procedures. Train staff on correct maintenance procedures and assists in repairs as needed.
  4. Respond to all guest's maintenance needs promptly and ensure guests receive professional, efficient prompt and courteous service to hotel standards.
  5. Maintain the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel including physical. mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc. Installation & maintenance of all equipment related to HVAC, DG Sets, Water treatment, Fire Safety etc.
  6. Ensure proper records are kept relating to all plant and equipment for the hotel including repair and service records. Ensure the proper use and periodic maintenance of all equipment.
